Ruben Castro Charities awards the Ruben Castro Memorial Scholarship to students each year since 2014 to high school seniors who have served their community through consistent and exceptional volunteerism just as Ruben Castro served his community throughout his life.
As of 2024, over $25,000 have been given out to high school seniors in scholarships.
